Mapping the recruiting process and opportunities for a recruiting agency in pursuit of more efficient and effective matchmaking
I've been building this obtuse Coda tool called CAREERing to help employers and workers better define their work needs. In pursuit of deeper understanding, I contacted a recruiter and ran a discovery session to understand the business.
Following our call, I prepared this process map in Miro, starting with the people (agents) involved, then thinking through the process steps. I developed an initial list of opportunities based on principles of organizational learning, complexity, community, and adaptive process design. Following that, I did some work with ChatGPT to expand my opportunities list.
This wasn't a client engagement. Rather it was my attempt to better understand the space.
